About Us

Experience Java Tour was founded on 11 January 2025, born from one simple frustration: tourism in Java kept circling the same few places. Borobudur, Prambanan, photo, go home.

Yet Java holds cultural layers far deeper than that. There are home kitchens with recipes nobody ever wrote down, silversmiths still shaping metal by hand, and backyard herb gardens whose contents are used daily rather than displayed.

What sets us apart

Balance between sights and experience. We still take you to the places genuinely worth seeing once in a lifetime. The difference is the deep local experience we fold in between them.

Taking part, not just watching. You are not standing behind a rope. You grate the turmeric, roast the coffee, and eat on the floor with your hosts.

Activities rarely offered elsewhere. Eco-printing, jamu blending, a cooking class on a volcano slope — things that do not appear in conventional tour packages.

Who usually joins

Most of our guests come from abroad, especially Malaysia and Singapore, looking for a culture-led holiday. We also welcome families, backpackers, and B2B partnerships with other travel agents.

Business registration is currently in progress. All operations presently run under the name Experience Java Tour.
